Model Ferrari F50 Hot Wheels in more detailed version branded Elite was produced only as hardtop. Version without the roof was not available as Elite nor it was produced in red colour. I modified my Hot Wheels Elite hardtop slightly and changed other Hot Wheels F50 model into red roofless spider with some extra details.
Model Elite had several elements that I did not like. That is why I added metal mesh at the rear lights belt and substituted solid plastic with metal mesh at front hood air intakes. I added metal wiper, break discs and pedals.
Model F50 Elite has best looking engine compartment glass of all F50 models I have seen.
Model Ferrari F50 in roofless version I got by changing F50 from Hardtop into Spider. I also added some extra elements – mesh on air intakes in front and on the front hood instead of plastic elements that were there, metal mesh over rear lights belt, engine details to make it more similar to Elite branded edition, textile seat belts and registration plate.
