I have installed day lights in place of halogen lamps. I used halogen cabling for power and mass. Mass I have left as it was But for power in PFS1 module (computer and fuses box under the hood) I have cut off original halogen cables pins (Pin 24 and 13 plug PF) and connected them to pin number 19 in plug PF. This gave me source of power that is activated by ignition (stays on while ignition is on) and protected by 10A fuse (F9) for my day lights.
My day lights have steering pin that turns them on while road lights, sidelights or beam lights are on. This must be connected to sidelights power. I did so. This was only additional cable that I had to put.
As I mentioned I installed my day lights in place of halogens. I bought special day lights LED prepared to be installed in this place.
I had to change plugs… Now it works like this:
Ignition off
Ignition on
Side lights on
Road lights on
Beam lights on
Lights off
Ignition off
Thous are DRL I have bought:
That how it looks like in a day time
